Mark C. Yezak, B.S., D.C.
Chiropractic Director, Partner
Dr. Yezak established The Houston Spine and Rehabilitation Centers in 1996 as a multi-disciplinary clinic specializing in pain treatment. He is an accomplished chiropractor with over 11 years of experience in the chiropractic and rehabilitation fields. Dr. Yezak was named in 2005, and 2008 as one of Houston's Top Docs by H Texas Magazine and has consistently been ranked among the top ten chiropractors in the Houston area. He has had many hours of training for the Diplomat of Chiropractic Orthopedics at the Texas Back Institute (TBI). His extensive educational background includes the Pre-Medicine program at Sam Houston State University, and Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. Yezak offers significant expertise in relieving joint dysfunction, reducing pain, improving range of motion and increasing flexibility and overall performance. He has proven success in treating pain and is proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to assure thorough diagnosis and effective, broad-based patient care.

Scott G. Neuburger, B.S., B.B.A., D.C.

Dr. Scott Neuburger is a partner of The Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers. Dr. Neuburger is a 1995 Graduate of Texas Chiropractic College where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree as well as his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. Dr. Neuburger is also a graduate of Sam Houston State University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration. He has completed over 175 hours of post-graduate training at the Texas Back Institute towards his Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics. Dr. Neuburger has an extensive background and training in Texas Workers Compensation Laws and is an expert in industrial related injuries. In 2003, Dr. Neuburger became certified for the approved doctors list and completed an Impairment Rating course. Dr. Neuburger resides in the Houston area with his wife, Missy, of nineteen years and his three beautiful daughters. As director of the Downtown Houston location Dr. Neuburger prides himself in giving his patients the same care and attention he provides his family.

Dr. R. Alan Moore
Owner, Pain Management Center of Houston
Dr. Moore specializes in pain management where he often creates a therapeutic regimen that can help his patients manage their pain. Such therapy may include injections, medications and implantable devices. He has been in the private practice of anesthesiology and pain management in the Houston area since 1982. Moore graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in 1976.

Dr. Lynnette Orrick
Chiropractor
Dr. Lynnette Orrick is a chiropractor for Houston Spine and Rehabilitation Centers. Dr. Orrick studied Kinesiology during her undergraduate work at The University of Houston and is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College where she earned her doctorate of Chiropractic degree. She continues her education while working closely with, and taking specialized courses from The American Red Cross. She has advanced studies in Nutrition and Wellness. Dr. Orrick offers consultations in nutrition and wellness. She has a vast amount of experience in personal injuries, work related injuries, as well as physical medicine, headaches, and chronic low back pain.

Dr. Joshua Akerman
Chiropractor
Grew up playing football, soccer, track and baseball in Klein tx. He received a full scholarship playing soccer for defending national champion university of Tampa where he became captain. He left Florida to finish his undergraduate studies at Texas tech university. He then attended Texas chiropractic college where he graduated and began his post graduate studies in athletic rehabilitation. He was honored to be selected to an athletic residency program at rice university where he worked under Olympic doctor, Dr. Lee, with all athletic teams. He then had the distinguished opportunity to finish his residency under dr. Yezak. His post graduate studies include (ART) active release technique, graston , and kinesio tape. He is also completing his certification as a CCSP (certified chiropractic sport physician).

Kole Kopnicky
Chiropractor
Dr. Kopnicky grew up in Matagorda County, Texas and graduated from Van Vleck High School. He attended Sam Houston State University and Texas Chiropractic College graduating in 2007 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Bachelors degree in Human Biology. His post graduate work includes certification in Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, and sports rehabilitation. In addition, he was a former team doctor for Conroe I.S.D. and is currently team doctor for Nueces Canyon I.S.D. With experience treating chronic low back pain, back pain due to pregnancy, and tension headaches Dr. Kopnicky is committed to diagnosing, treating, and educating his patients so they can lead a healthy lifestyle.

Alfred Vela III
Director of Rehabilitation
Alfred Vela III is the Director of Rehabilitation for The Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Center at The Woodlands. Before coming to HSRC, Mr. Vela was the Clinical Director of an outpatient clinic in Spring, Texas. He received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Angelo State University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. He presented research, completed at ASU, on "The Effect of Height on Anterior and Lateral Functional Reach" at The American Physical Therapy Association – Combined Sections Meeting. He is pursuing his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. His specialties include sports medicine, orthopedics/musculoskeletal injuries, neck and back dysfunction, and acute injury management.
