Dr. Szymanowski practices with a patient-centered, individualized approach. No two patients are the same, so no two treatment plans are the same. She loves helping patients achieve their goals, and celebrating their progress at each step throughout their course of care.
Before she was a physical therapist, Dr. Szymanowski was always active and involved in sports growing up. Fitness and working out are still integral parts of her life today and she loves boxing! Dr. Szymanowski loves being a part of a patient’s progress and motivating them to achieve a life that is more active, whatever level of activity that may be.
Dr. Szymanowski is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedics. For her patients, the advantage of working with a physical therapist board-certified in orthopedics means they’ll receive care that is focused on restoring function and mobility. She is also in the process of completing her manual therapy fellowship so that she can incorporate additional “hands-on” modes of treatment to complement physical therapy treatment including: traction, massage, trigger point therapy, active release techniques for adhesions and more.
Outside of the office, Dr. Szymanowski loves to be active, working out and spending time with family and friends. She loves to travel! One of her favorite destinations is back home to Michigan to visit family.
