Dr. Katelyn Hagen is originally from Bloomington, Minnesota. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2020 at the University of North Dakota where she has previously received her bachelor’s degree in 2017. Katelyn is a fun-loving, compassionate therapist who values creating meaningful connections with her patients and her community.
Dr. Katelyn has been a certified Pilates instructor through STOTT Pilates since 2019. She incorporates the use of Pilates basic principles into patient exercise programs to enhance their core stability and postural awareness. This method has been extremely successful in transitioning patients to a higher level of function and activity. Most recently, Katelyn became a certified Pelvic floor specialist where she received her training through Hermann & Wallace in 2020. Katelyn delivers heartfelt, tailored care for women at different stages of life including the young female athlete, women of childbearing age, menopausal, and elderly women. Conditions Katelyn treats includes pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, diastasis recti, and pregnancy/postpartum related care.
In clinical practice, Katelyn has enjoyed working with a variety of orthopedic and sports medicine patients including cheerleaders, gymnastics, dancers, and volleyball players. She is especially passionate about injury prevention in young female athletes.
Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching sports, traveling, exercising, and spending time outside in the warm Texas sun.
