What Is The Activator Method?

The Activator Method Chiropractic Technique® is a system that many chiropractors use and trust for diagnosing and treating headaches and different types of back and neck pain. This method involves the use of the Activator Adjusting Instrument, which is a small, handheld tool that delivers gentle force to the spine so that it can restore mobility to the target area. The type of force used in the Activator Method is referred to as the high-velocity low-amplitude (HVLA) thrust. The use of the Activator Adjustment Instrument offers an alternative to traditional spinal manipulation techniques, and it’s reported to be a commonly used therapeutic intervention among chiropractors.

The team of experienced chiropractors at The Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers offers effective treatments and uses advanced techniques to provide patients with relief from neck pain, back pain, and headaches.
